Lately I’ve developed a bit of an obsession with sunglasses, which is beginning to rival my shoe addiction. Scary thought!

I’ve been writing since I was five years old. At times, the “itch” to write would strike so terribly that before I could continue my current task, pen would have meet paper. Countless journals were filled with short stories, poems and my innermost thoughts. An advertising degree from Southern Methodist University and several jobs later, I’m now the editor of Living Magazine, the largest regional lifestyle publication in Texas. My job has allowed me to do some travel writing over the last several years, but instead of sating my wanderlust, it’s only fed the desire to see more of the world.I also have contributed to American Way Magazine and Max Sports and Fitness Magazine and am blessed to make a living doing what I love—writing, traveling, art directing and producing.

When not filling pages with text, behind the scenes of a fashion shoot or on an airplane, I stay busy raising two boys, biking, gardening, shoe shopping, avoiding the kitchen and escaping to the beach whenever possible.
